With the holiday season coming up I will be in search of a firearm to give as a gift to my Dad. I dont have anything specific in mind, but i do know i would rather buy from someone that posts here than a stranger. So if you sell on gun broker could you post a link to your auctions or email a link to me? i'll bookmark it and keep an eye on them and hopefully find somthing i think he would like.

I didnt think you had to have an ffl to sell firearms on gb? i thought anyone could sell as long as you ship to an ffl or c&r ffl ?

Honestly it would be easier to tell you what im not looking for [:D]
Just a few notes on his taste in firearms. He is old fashioned he dont like synthetic stocks, black powder or most new manufactured guns and he absolutley hates a glock, swears that mattel makes them [:D].
He really likes the older guns, and u.s military and old west. He's Always wanted a schofield a garand a nice .41 cal remington derringer and a tommy. but all of those are over my budget ! just naming them off to give you an idea about his dream guns so you can relate to what he may like.
basically he likes his gun to have some form of history or character, if that makes since. It boils down to im looking for somthing at least 20 to 25 years old or older in '' blue steel and walnut '' for him.
